Event: Association of Teachers of Mathematics in New England
Location: Holiday Inn by the Bay, Portland, Maine
This session will explore a model for improvement in which mathematics education faculty, researchers, and practitioners collaborate to identify and address persistent challenges related to early mathematics learning and teaching in iPad-infused, K–2 classrooms. Research + Practice Collaboratory project partners are actively investigating how to effectively leverage these technologies to enhance early math learning and teaching. During the session, we will engage in hands-on activities to illustrate some key strategies and tools employed in our work together
